The ninth AMICE Congress will take place on 3-4 June 2024 in Bilbao, Spain. The host for this edition is AMICE member Seguros Lagun Aro (Mondragon Corporation). Since its launch eighteen years ago, the AMICE Congress has become the most important event at which European mutual and cooperative insurers, their trading partners and EU policymakers meet and discuss the latest regulatory, legislative and international developments that are likely to affect their business.
Under the topic of “The Art of Mutuality: People, Purpose, Potential”, the AMICE Congress in Bilbao will explore the uniqueness of the mutual and cooperative insurance sector, and showcase the mutual difference. The Congress will be preceded by a Welcome Reception on the evening of Sunday 02 June.
The Congress will take place at the Palacio Euskalduna Conference Centre. AMICE’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 09:00 on 03 June. AMICE members will be sent a separate invitation and notice for the Annual General Meeting.
The AMICE Congress will open directly after the AGM on the morning of 03 June, at 11:30. The Congress will be a mix of keynote speeches and panel discussions, and will conclude with a “Mutual Meet-Up”, where participants will have the opportunity to take part in roundtable discussions or meet informally with other delegates. This will be followed by a Gala Dinner at the Guggenheim Museum.
The congress continues on 4 June, until 3.45pm.
