On the occasion of its General Assembly on January 15, 2026, which brought together 90 participants, GSEF, the global forum on the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE), elected its board of directors for the 2026-2028 period, with renewed governance following the amendment of the statutes approved at the general assembly during #BordeauxGSEF2025.
There are now 20 members, belonging to different colleges, who make up GSEF’s board of directors:

- Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, replacing the Gironde Department
- CRESS Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Continental Co-Presidencies
- Africa: City of Dakar (Senegal), substitute: REMCESS (Cameroon) and RESSCAM (Cameroon)
- Asia: SSEGOV (South Korea)
- North America: City of Montreal (Quebec, Canada) and Chantier de l’Économie Sociale (Quebec, Canada)
- Latin America and the Caribbean: City of Cuenca (Ecuador) and RAEPS – Austral Network of Popular and Solidarity Economy (Ecuador)
- Europe: City of Bordeaux, substitute Bordeaux Métropole and ConcertES (Belgium)
