Eurofound invites participation in a survey on the digitalisation needs of the social economy

Digitalisation is transforming the way social economy organisations operate, collaborate with their stakeholders, deliver services and respond to society’s needs. As digital technologies become increasingly important across all sectors, understanding how social economy organisations are managing this transformation is essential for promoting effective support measures and developing public policies that reflect the realities of the sector.

To this end, Eurofound, with the support of KPMG, has launched an EU-wide survey on digitalisation in the social economy. The initiative aims to gather first-hand information from social economy organisations across the 27 Member States in order to build a solid knowledge base on the opportunities, challenges and realities of digital transformation in the sector.

The study seeks to ensure that the experience and needs of social economy organisations are taken into account in the design of future European and national policies. The results will provide a better understanding of how digitalisation is affecting organisations in different national contexts and will generate valuable insights to guide future support measures for the sector.

Participating organisations will contribute directly to shaping policies affecting the social economy while helping to provide a more comprehensive and representative picture of the sector’s level of digitalisation across Europe.

The survey is open to social economy organisations throughout the European Union and can be completed online. Participating organisations are also encouraged to share the survey within their networks in order to strengthen the representativeness of the results and ensure that the diversity of the social economy ecosystem is reflected in the study.

You are invited to participate by accessing the survey through the following link:

Every response contributes to generating the knowledge needed to design more effective policies and initiatives supporting the development of the social economy at both European and national level. By taking part, organisations help ensure that their experiences, challenges and strengths are taken into account in the future digital development of the sector.
